Ask Me Anything Q&A with Amanda Rush-Holmes

I’m so excited about today’s episode because I get to answer all of your questions that you asked me via a poll on Instagram. This is an ask-me-anything Q&A, and I always enjoy doing these because it’s a chance for me to see what you’re curious about. And to be honest, I’ve only read one or two of the questions that came in, so this is a super off-the-cuff episode. I’m sharing a few questions and answers below. But be sure to tune into the episode to hear them all!

To listen to the first Q&A that we did, you can listen to that episode HERE.

Question 1: Do you have a morning routine?

The answer is no, definitely not. In this season of life of having a 3-year-old and a 3-month-old, it’s a little chaotic. Beckam is a fantastic sleeper and will sleep until 8:30 or 9am if I let him. However, Wallace our 3-month-old, is still waking up for a night feeding, and will sleep until 6:30 or sometimes 8:30, just depends. So if he sleeps in, I can get my day started, make some coffee and crank out two hours worth of work.

My brain works rapid fire right when I wake up, so I can get so much work done while they’re sleeping. So I typically do more of the self-care type of things in the evening to wind down from the day. I’m sure this will change as our seasons of life change though.

Question 2: What’s something about yourself that may surprise some people?

Coming from someone who is type A and an enneagram 3, I have a lot of stereotypes attached to me. However, it may surprise people to know that I don’t always have a plan in life and in business. I’ve just never been the one to say, “I need to be married by this age,” and “I need to have this job by this time.” I have a vision for what I want my life to look like, but I don’t hold myself to time-bound regulations.

I’m trusting that everything will work out the way it’s supposed to. And I have to let go of control of the day to day, and just keep believing.

Tune in now to hear what it’s like working with bloggers and influencers and so much more!

Amanda
